Marsh Harbour, The Bahamas — Abaconians were entertained Saturday night by the James Catalyn & Friends Revue 2011. The two act show performed and written by Bahamians had the audience grinning and laughing for over two hours. The most popular issue comically lambasted that evening was the state of Bahamian politics. The laughter, rolling from the seats of Faith Convention Center, kept up as the talented actors performed skits, songs and audience-asides.This was the second year this comedy troupe has visited Abaco. Having had such a warm reception last year, it was an easy decision to journey back to our island this time. They promise to be back next year, as well.

Tickets were $40.00 a piece with some of the proceeds going towards our local scholarship charity: Abaco Pathfinders. There was a cocktail reception after the show where audience members mingled with the cast and each other before heading home. It was a fun evening that many enjoyed and look forward to doing again next September.
