Eat Well. Feel Better.

When we eat food that is made with living, healthy ingredients (of a high vibration) we feel vibrant, not only physically but mentally. I like to experiment and find new ways to make food that makes me feel alive rather than lethargic. I just rooted around in my fridge and cupboards, and came up with this yummy recipe! The ONLY reason there is no fresh garlic is because I didn’t have any! 1/2 small avocado 3 tbsp lemon juice 1tbsp tahini 1 tsp turmeric 3 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp nutritional yeast small piece raw ginger dash of sea salt and black pepper small handful of walnuts (optional) For an extra crunch – sprouted lentils! (DON’T BLEND) Mix ingredients in blender until smooth, (except lentils) and toss in Deluxe Mix Micro Greens (sunflower greens, pea shoots, radish, assorted sprouts) or any salad ingredients you have available.) Soak rice wraps until soft and then roll ingredients and enjoy! Turmeric is a powerful medicinal food that has long been used in the Chinese and Indian systems of medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent to treat a wide variety of conditions. Avocado is considered a “perfect food”. Along with it’s long list of vitamins, nutrients and healthy fat content, it helps with blood sugar control, insulin regulation, satiety and weight management and is also anti-inflammatory! Lemons are high in vitamin c and antioxidants and have an alkalising effect on the body. I tried this recipe with olive oil first, and then with coconut oil and I prefer the coconut oil. I threw a handful of walnuts in because they are a rich source of energy and omega 3 essential fatty acids.
