Junior Achievers Mentorship Program in Abaco

The Junior Achievement Foundation is excited to announce that they will be developing a Junior Achievers mentorship program in the Abaco School District, with Abaco’s own Claire Basden as the program manager and entrepreneurial mentor. Claire is delighted to start the Junior Achievers Program in the Abacos with students from Kindergarten all the way up to 12th grade. The Junior Achiever program will help to develop the entrepreneurial spirit within the local Abaco students. Claire says that she hopes her own entrepreneurial experience will inspire the students, and that she is excited to be the program manager and can’t wait to be a part of the development of every student’s dream. The entrepreneur program will be implemented by Claire throughout the district, and will include visits to her client’s offices and companies so the students can be exposed to the day to day operations of an entrepreneurial business while also giving the students firsthand experience as to the fundamental skills it takes to create their own business. It is Claire’s hope that her work with the students will not only impact just the students, but the entire Abaconian Community.
